Mets Run to Home

It's hip these days to retire your blog when you are posting slowly, but I am not hip. I am just slow.

As my time at this weekend's Mets Run to Home Plate 5K proved... 45:31 for 3.1 miles... that's a 14:40 mile pace. Yeah! But I finished.

The last part of the race guided you into the outfield of Shea Stadium, around 3rd base, and to the finish line near home plate (you didn't actually touch home plate). I've never been in Shea Stadium and this was a unique way to see it for the first time.
