It's Summertime

Pay attention to your food magazines. This is the time of year when the automatic cover image of choice is a rustic burger on a fancy bun with swiss cheese melting off of it, and a ridiculously thick slice of red onion that you would never actually put on a burger. Also, the bun must be gently sliding off the top, at a pleasing angle. If the magazine is cheesy or post-ironic, the top bun might have a little American flag sticking out of it.
